Ready to go.

Wow. Customizing this sucker was a lot easier than I had planned for! Thank you, blogger, for being much more customizable than my Wordpress. I mean, I love Wordpress and all, but you can't change a darn thing! And having this much freedom was a breath of fresh air. :)

And thank you to shabbyblogs.com for supplying such wonderful pieces to build a blog that really speaks to my style.

Hopefully I can convince my wonderful fiance to update on here every now and then, but I don't know if that will be happening... I have a feeling it will turn into my place for inspiration for the wedding. Which is fine with me! (He doesn't even know I've made this yet...)

I ordered my wedding shoes today! I am so excited. They are Hey Lady shoes and are made to be incredibly comfortable during your entire wedding day. I'm planning on adding a few touches to them, though, to make them more my own. Maybe some lace or buttons. We will see! I just can't wait to try them on! :)

Logan is still out of town in Philadelphia at the moment but I'll be picking him up from the airport tonight. It has been weird being apart for the first time since our engagement. Somehow it makes it a lot more difficult to be in two separate cities.. I know that sounds cliche and stereotypical, but it really is true. I felt off in some way, not having him here as usual. Anyway, I'm just glad that he will be back tonight and things will be normal again!

We've done a lot of brainstorming lately about the wedding... I'm excited to start getting things nailed down! And we're hoping to figure out logistics for the Cannery pretty soon so we can also nail down our venue (if that ends up being it!).

Ahh it's all so exciting, I'm trying to take it in one breath at a time because I only get to do this once!

I'm going to go look for some inspiration... in the mean time check out these two inspiration boards I found that I feel speak to kind of what we are going for in our wedding (vintage, classy, winter, etc.). Enjoy! (Oh and the ring in the second one looks IDENTICAL to my ring.. it's kind of scary.. but I'm glad it made it on an inspiration board!!)
