In the past few days I've had so many things come together, which has been exciting and uplifting. Logan and I went "venue hopping" last Saturday and it didn't go so well. I think we've decided I need to make these decisions and just keep him filled in, it's too stressful feeling obligated to weigh in his opinion when he doesn't even really care.
But. We did visit Union Station which was incredible (even more incredible than I remembered it being last time I went), and we're looking into having the ceremony there and the reception at the Cannery. The manager emailed me to say that our day is available and yes, they do do ceremonies in the lobby but only on Fridays and Saturdays - good thing we planned on a Friday!! I'm still waiting to hear back about time and regulations.
Also, my wedding shoes came in! I had fallen in love with the At Tiffany's pair of Hey Lady shoes (CHECK HEY LADY OUT - SERIOUSLY) but they were out of my size so I ordered a different pair, and the other ones came in! So they are on the way here and my other ones are on the way back. I am so happy about that!
Also, marriage counseling starts next Wednesday! Logan had wanted to start early since the wedding planning had been hard for us and he thought we could use some decision-making guidance.
Everything seems to be falling into place... and my bridesmaids will find out that I am asking them tomorrow! Life is good.
So. Just an update, sorry I've been so slack on updating recently... work has been crazy. But yes. There it all is! :)
