Quick Update

I really need to be sleeping right about now, but that's okay. :) I'm trying to be consistent on here, so here is the latest update!

Saturday was a hugely productive day for Logan and I in terms of getting our apartment ready. I started the morning by having breakfast with his mom and my mom just to talk about the wedding details and they wanted to exchange Mother of the Bride/Groom dress ideas. We collaborated about the few last details like flowers and catering.

Then Logan and I met and went to West Elm to pick out the bed his parents are buying us as our wedding present. We chose a fairly simple one, but it will look just lovely in our newly painted grey bedroom! They actually bought it today, so Logan and I are going mattress shopping tomorrow. (Oh la la.. haha just kidding!)

We basically made a list at West Elm of all of our "wishlist" stuff - which is a local registry so other people can buy us stuff from there that we want, but a lot of it is majorly expensive so I don't see much of that happening. it would be such a huge happy surprise if it did, but I'm not worried about it.

So then Luke and Heather Flener called Logan to say that since they're moving they're selling some of their furniture and we rode over to look at what they had. Long story short we're buying their wonderful brown sectional and dining room table (the EXACT ONE that we had picked out at West Elm!). I'm so thankful that we have them in our lives, it was so sweet of them to think of us and they are just great examples to Logan and me. :)

So I think Logan and Wes are working on the suits this week, and our first shower is this coming Sunday!! Ahh!! I'm so excited, but not gonna lie pretty nervous, too! Especially because it's mostly Logan's family's friends so I hope they like me! :)

Okay time to sleep, just wanted to get it all out there. I am starting to get anxious that we won't get everything done... I'm sure we will, it's just really starting to stress me out. But, alas, we will be married regardless of the details. :) And that's all that matters! <3
